As Fashion Weeks are done, now we are seeing emerging compilations of trends, to sum up, what we will be wearing for the next few months. Here is our approach on this matter, as we combine what are the latest trends and how to wear them. Just getting a trendy product is not enough, if you will not know what to do with it. Without further ado, let's jump in.
It seems, this season, all major runways were taken over by sequins, just take a look at Versace, Gucci, Chanel, Marc Jacobs. However stunning, this trend may be a little bit difficult to pull of on a daily basis. Our idea is to add sequined accents to either monochrome or casual look.
Our sequined recommendation:
As seen in Preen, Celine, Victoria Beckham, pastels are making a comeback. And this time, this isn't just a pastel element. It's the whole look, from top to bottom. We would option out for a pastel suit or a chiffon dress, with a contrasting shade of shoes and bag.
Our pastel recommendation:
Already a classic of British fashion, plaid got a new life thanks to Victoria Beckham and Burberry. How you can wear it - either plaid up from top to bottom, adding monochrome shoes, bag and outerwear or, twist it up with a crazy color that will make the plaid out stand out even more.
Our plaid recommendation:
Chanel's collection made a lot of fuss all over the fashion community when they added quite a lot of plastic to their outfits. Fendi followed this example, creating a unique and extremely chic, plastic look. Best part is, it can literally match everything. Can be added on top as an outerwear, or as an accessory.
Our plastic recommendation:
5. Bold color
Bold colors, such as intense yellow, red, blue, purple, have been sweeping up all fashionista's Instagram account recently. Roksanda Ilincic and Stella McCartney followed up with this trend and brighten up their runway shows with colors, so intense, they will stay in your memory for quite some time. If you don't know what to do - a bold color accessory, such as a shoe, bag, hat, scarf, will go well, with grays and whites. They will brighten up pastels combination and add a chich twist on denim and plaid.
Our bold color recommendation:
Last but not least, we have ruffles, as seen on Alexander McQueen and Valentino's fashion shows. As this is a perfect trend for spring, we have a whole separate article dedicated to this trend. Check it out here:
